Camiel’s Intermediate Course really helped me take my music production to the next level. I learned a lot about improving my workflow, sound selection, and mixing, but what stood out to me the most was his mindset towards making music.

He really motivated me to keep producing as much as possible and taught me that consistency is one of the most important things when it comes to improving as a producer. That’s something that has really stuck with me and changed the way I approach making music.

I’m super happy with what I’ve learned and would definitely love to take another course with Camiel in the future 🙂

Lessons in Live has been a great learning experience for my musical career. I took the Advanced course, which allowed me to achieve a high level of understanding of Ableton Live and music production in general, as well as become more aware of my artistic goals.

Camiel is an excellent instructor with many years of experience behind him. I have always appreciated the dedication and care he shows towards each and every one of his students, in an almost brotherly way.

It is a unique, all-around experience that I would recommend to any music producer, whether a beginner or an experienced professional.

From scratch to (beginner) producer! I never knew how to get started with Ableton. But to have it explained so easily and with so much enthousiasm, wow! Big up to Sensei Camiel for this course.
ps. I won this course with the giveaway, but if I could turn back time a year with this knowledge, I would have definitily paid for it! Will come back for the intermediate course.

I really liked Camiel’s approach to teaching. From the very beginning, he made us feel confident working inside the DAW and showed us how to navigate it in a creative way. He gave us weekly assignments, and every session we would go through everyone’s tracks and get feedback. I definitely recommend it!

Camiel is quite simply an amazing teacher and an absolute pleasure to work with. His depth of knowledge and experience is extraordinary, but what really sets him apart is his approach to teaching.
He is genuinely curious about you, your musical tastes, your ideas and what you’re hoping to achieve. There is absolutely no judgement or sense that you should be making music in a particular way. He takes the time to understand where you want to go creatively and then uses his enormous experience to help you find your own way towards that goal.
He’s incredibly encouraging, patient, open-minded and, perhaps most importantly, great fun to spend time with. His enthusiasm is infectious, and he has a wonderful ability to make complicated things feel accessible without ever making you feel that you should know more than you do.
I particularly appreciate he isn’t trying to teach you to make music like him. He’s helping you discover how to make the music that’s in your own head.
Every session leaves me feeling inspired, motivated and excited to get back to creating. I really couldn’t recommend him highly enough

From endless loops to finished tracks. Camiel helped me make it happen 🙏

Camiel, I honestly cannot thank you enough for what these last two years have meant to me. I came to you to learn Ableton, but you’ve given me so much more than technical knowledge. You’ve helped me believe in the music I want to make and keep showing up for it.

As a DJ playing gigs almost every week, it’s easy to let performing take over and put my own music aside. But you care enough to keep pushing me, checking in, and holding me accountable. That means so much. Making music is such a personal form of self-expression, and having someone in your corner who keeps you inspired through the challenging parts makes all the difference.

And let’s be honest—you’ve taken me from making tracks that sounded like Super Mario trying to save the princess to music I’m actually proud to release. That alone deserves an award!

After two years of private sessions, I now get to keep learning with you alongside an incredible group of producers. I’m so grateful for everything you’ve taught me, but even more for the care you put into helping me grow. You’ve become more than my teacher and mentor. You’re an amazing friend, and I feel very lucky to have you in my life.

Camiel is an incredibly kind, enthusiastic, and inspiring teacher who brings so much energy and passion to everything he does. He really takes the time to listen and understand you as an individual, helping you focus on what matters most for your personal growth and development. With decades of experience and a wealth of knowledge, he always has valuable insights to share. You could talk with him for hours and still walk away with new perspectives and things to learn. Over the years that I’ve known him, Camiel has become a truly valuable mentor to me. I have tremendous respect for him, both as a teacher and as a person, and I’m genuinely grateful for everything I’ve learned from him. I couldn’t recommend him more highly to anyone looking for an experienced, dedicated, and genuinely inspiring mentor.

A great experience, for someone without any production experience I have learned way more than I would have thought beforehand. Music has become my passion. Thank you Camiel!

What a ride! In the past 8 weeks, I’ve learned more about Ableton than I could ever imagine and I now feel confident enough to make some awesome tracks. Camiel really went in-depth with the incredible features that Ableton Live has to offer and I totally got inspired by his unique way of teaching, full of energy, impulsiveness, and always up for a laugh. Thanks, Camiel!!

Heb hier mijn Ableton beginners cursus bij gedaan. Echt super veel geleerd, ik kan al echte tracks bouwen! Raad dit echt aan als je zelf muziek wilt gaan maken. Makkelijker en leuker gaat het niet worden!
