800 fresh sounds for Live’s Analog in one folder: basses, leads, chords, pads, keys, plucks, FX and sounds for sequences. Each one is a full Instrument Rack with Live’s own Saturator and Reverb behind it, chords and scales in front where it suits, and macros for cutoff, resonance, drive and every effect. Drop the folder into your User Library and play.

Requires Ableton Live 12 Suite (Analog only comes with Suite, not with Intro or Standard). Mac and Windows.

A full rack behind every sound

Every preset is an Instrument Rack built around Analog, with Live’s own Saturator and Reverb behind it; 251 add a Delay, 191 Chorus-Ensemble and 137 Phaser-Flanger. In front of the synth, 183 presets have a Scale device (everything stays in key) and 141 a Chord device (one key plays a whole chord).

Every rack has macros for Cutoff, Resonance, Drive and Reverb, plus Delay, Chorus or Phaser where those effects are in the chain, so every preset is a starting point you can shape from one knob.

What you need

  • Ableton Live 12 Suite. Analog only comes with Suite, not with Intro or Standard.
  • Mac or Windows.
  • Nothing else: only Live’s own devices are used.

How to install

  1. Unzip the download.
  2. Put the folder LIL Mega Analog Pack into User Library › Presets › Instruments › Analog. On a Mac the User Library is usually in Music › Ableton › User Library, on Windows in Documents › Ableton › User Library. Make the Analog folder if it isn’t there yet.
  3. In Live’s browser, go to User Library › Presets › Instruments › Analog › LIL Mega Analog Pack and drag any preset onto a MIDI track.
